The Ideal Supplement for Women Going Through Menopause Transition
Are you in Perimenopause?
Perimenopause, or menopause transition, is the period leading up to menopause. As your body gradually starts to produce less estrogen, you can start to experience things like:
- Hot flashes
- Night sweats
- Mood swings and irritability
- Worse premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
- Trouble sleeping
- Aches and pains in muscles and joints
- Anxiety & Stress
- Irregular periods
- Vaginal dryness; discomfort during sex
The symptoms of perimenopause can last for 4 to 8 years, and typically start for women in their mid-40s, although they can start as early as in your 30s. The decline in estrogen production can also affect the amount of calcium in your bones. This can cause a decrease in bone density, which can lead to a condition called osteoporosis. This makes women more vulnerable to bone fractures after perimenopause. One possible remedy for perimenopause symptoms is HRT or Hormone Replacement Therapy. However, this is a serious intervention with its own side effects.
But we have good news.
We at Tranquility Labs believe in treating your body and mind with a healthy lifestyle and natural, herbal supplements. In recent years, the scientific community has finally begun to seriously study ancient eastern remedies from healing traditions like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese medicine. A handful of herbal extracts, vitamins and minerals have been identified as effective in reducing perimenopause symptoms in women. We have combined these remedies into one all-natural and safe but powerful supplement.
Estrolene contains a unique combination of herbs and vitamins, based on ancient wisdom and the latest science, to keep your body strong and healthy while also offering relief from the symptoms of perimenopause.
Vitamin E (400iu)
Vitamin E is a vital nutrient for good health. It’s an antioxidant, helps protect against numerous diseases and is benficial for skin and hair health. Clinical studies have shown that Vitamin E reduces both the frequency and severity of hot flashes.
Red clover (Trifolium pratense) contains isoflavones, a type of phytoestrogen. Phytoestrogens have a similar chemical makeup to estrogen, the female hormone that declines with menopause. In one study, women taking red clover isoflavones had fewer menopausal symptoms. Another study showed that women taking red clover had significantly less bone density loss than women taking a placebo.
Magnolia Bark Extract
Long used in Chinese medicine, magnolia bark contains honokiol, a natural compound that acts as a phytoestrogen. A 2006 study showed that after taking magnolia bark for four weeks, it was helpful in relieving hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, anxiety, depression, irritability, vaginal dryness, and loss of libido.
Pueraria Mirifica Root
This herb from Thailand has been shown to relieve menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, trouble sleeping and vaginal dryness. It also may help to keep your bones strong, protects your heart and has antioxidant activities.
Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex)
This berry plays a dual role in treating perimenopause symptoms. On one hand, numerous studies have shown that chaste tree berry is an effective treatment for PMS (premenstrual syndrome). On the other hand, chaste tree berry has been shown to significantly decrease the frequency and severity of hot flashes within eight weeks. It also leads to significant decreases in night sweats, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and headaches.
Black Cohosh Root
Black cohosh is an herb native to Eastern North America. Records show that Native Americans used it for menopause symptoms and menstrual irregularities centuries ago. Recent research shows that black cohosh significantly reduces menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and night sweats.
Vitamin D (800iu) & Calcium (200mg)
The hormone changes in menopause transition can cause a loss in bone density. Calcium is crucial to keep your bones strong, and Vitamin D is necessary to help your body absorb the calcium. Vitamin D has also been shown to boost immune function and reduce depression.
